Alessandro Ferrante

Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner

Alessandro has over twenty years of experience in alternative investment fund management and private credit, having previously held senior roles at leading European asset managers and investment banks. He has led the origination and structuring of more than two billion euros in private debt transactions across Italy and international markets. Under his leadership, CITY LIFE INVESTMENT FINANCIAL FUND SGR S.P.A. has established itself as a credible and respected participant in the European private debt market.

Chiara Montanari

Chief Investment Officer

Chiara oversees the firm's investment process, portfolio construction, and risk committee, bringing fifteen years of experience in credit analysis and structured finance from roles at major European banks and credit funds. She is responsible for maintaining the rigorous underwriting standards that define the firm's investment approach and for ensuring that portfolio risk is actively monitored and managed throughout the investment lifecycle. Chiara holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from Bocconi University and is a CFA charterholder.

Marco Dellarocca

Head of Corporate Finance & Advisory

Marco leads the corporate finance advisory division, specializing in capital structure optimization, leveraged transactions, and debt restructuring for mid-market companies. He has advised on more than sixty transactions during his eighteen-year career spanning investment banking, M&A advisory, and private equity. Marco's sector expertise covers manufacturing, logistics, and business services, and he is recognized for his ability to design creative financing solutions for complex corporate situations.

Sofia Bernardi

Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

Sofia is responsible for the firm's risk management framework, regulatory compliance programme, and internal audit function, ensuring that CITY LIFE INVESTMENT FINANCIAL FUND SGR S.P.A. meets all obligations under AIFMD and applicable national regulations. With twelve years of experience in financial regulation and risk management at both regulatory authorities and asset managers, she brings a uniquely authoritative perspective to the firm's governance. Sofia is a qualified lawyer and holds a master's degree in Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics.

Riccardo Selvaggio

Head of Investor Relations & Business Development

Riccardo manages relationships with the firm's institutional investor base and leads capital-raising efforts for new fund strategies, drawing on ten years of experience in investor relations and alternative asset distribution across Europe. He has built and maintained relationships with pension funds, insurance groups, and family offices across Italy, Germany, France, and the Nordic region. Riccardo is known for his transparent communication style and his ability to clearly articulate complex investment strategies to sophisticated allocators.
